2016-2017 Registration is OPEN

IMPORTANT: NEW this year! In Awana, we will be implementing a check-out procedure at the end of each night. Our goal with this new system is to ensure that kids are safe while they are in our care. This means that parents, and those you have authorized, are the only people allowed to pick-up a child. This authorization was/is listed on your child's registration form. Clubbers will be held in the commons area after the evening is over until they are checked out. Please come in to the commons area to sign your child out, as they will not be allowed to leave until someone signs them out. These changes will require a testing period where our new procedure will be adjusted as needed to find the most efficient way to check the kids out for the night. We ask for your patience while we work out the system to provide a safe environment for all the kids in a way that will give you with the peace of mind you expect. If you need to add or change the names of people that are authorized to pick up your child, please see the secretaries at the secretary table, or email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The Awana club for preschoolers, Cubbies, is built on two premises:

  • Young children can and should receive spiritual training.
  • Home is the primary place for spiritual training.

Our preschool program meets these needs through the use of handbooks, games, puppets, crafts and other activities that reach and teach kids the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each week our preschool program is a lively experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.

Our Cubbies program is for children starting at age 3. All Cubbies must turn 3 by September 14, 2016.

The Sparks program is for students in Kindergarten - 2nd Grade.

Sparks is firmly grounded in Scripture. Immersing Kids in God's Word. The three handbooks feature:

  • Basic truths about God, Jesus Christ, salvation and the Bible
  • A clear and consistent presentation of the gospel message
  • An emphasis on Scripture memory, including a sequential walk through Scripture. In three years, a child will learn and review over 65 verses, many of which cover salvation and key Christian doctrine, establishing a foundation of biblical wisdom.
  • Three ranks: HangGlider, WingRunner and SkyStormer
  • Details about Bible characters told in captivating biographies
  • A handbook CD with dramatic biography readings, memory verses and characters - Joel, Chloe and Jacob - to join Sparky

  • Fun Learning = Results

Sparks club meetings combine learning with fun to create an atmosphere of irresistible excitement for churched and unchurched kids alike. Club meetings are divided into three segments:

  • Bible teaching, worship, award presentations and the gospel message
  • Small group interaction and completion of Bible-based lessons
  • Age-appropriate games on the Awana game circle

Along the way, Sparky, the friendly firefly, and his three friends have many exciting adventures. Sparky encourages kids to learn verses and complete assignments throughout the three handbooks.

The Truth & Training program is for students in 3rd - 6th Grade.

The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach boys and girls the truth of God's Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. Our goal is that many of today's young people will become tomorrow's church leaders. T&T is the program that trains the leaders of tomorrow - today.

Exciting features to get kids excited about God's Word

T&T is equipped with a variety of dynamic tools to accomplish this mission:

There are four handbooks of increasing difficulty, which teach children that life's ultimate adventure is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ

    • A cast of fun characters that boys and girls learn from and follow on interesting journeys in the handbooks
    • Weekly meetings that expose children to the gospel message, Scripture memory, Bible study, awards, team-oriented games and gut-busting fun
    • A Bible-centered curriculum that helps kids build a firm foundation for their faith, hide God's Word in their heart and apply the truths of Scripture to their daily lives
    • Interactive CDs that use exciting high-tech games to teach and reinforce key biblical truths

Evangelism and discipleship go hand-in-hand in T&T. By the time a child has completed T&T, they will have:

    • Learned and reviewed approximately 310 verses
    • Studied dozens of passages from the Old and New Testament
    • Regularly heard and read the gospel message
    • Discovered the Bible's response to questions like "How does God want me to live my life?" and memorized verses to back up these answers
    • Completed missions projects that help him see the world through God's eyes.
