Youth

Village's philosophy of Student Ministry is focused on discipleship. This process includes making disciples, maturing disciples, and developing disciple-makers who will continue to share the gospel with others. Within discipleship there is an intentional focus upon developing the whole self (mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual). We provide personal mentorship, regular weekly events, D-groups, special events and Sunday school classes.

BI

Bible Instruction (BI) is a three-year intensive course on the Bible for 7th through 9th graders offered during the Sunday School hour. Our goal is to provide a solid grounding in God's Word for our kids as they prepare to enter high school. Students are required to commit to the program, parents are engaged in supporting their children at home during this time, and those who graduate from the program are recognized and rewarded for their perseverance.

Sr. High Sunday School

Sr. High Sunday School is offered every Sunday at 10:30. This class is designed to engage our Sr. High students in thought and discussion in various books and teachings from the Bible. The curriculum in the class varies from books of the Bible to topical studies.

Youth Group

Jr High and Sr. High youth group meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m for  students in grades 7-12 at the Harris Home in Delano, MN.  Come at 6:00 p.m. for sandwiches!  We spend time playing games, worshiping, studying God's word and meeting in D-groups. Students are encouraged to walk with Jesus and learn together what it means to live for Him.

D-Groups

D-Groups are designed for discipleship. Students that are part of the Village youth group are part of a D-group that they meet with all year long. The D-group and leader remains the same for the entire year, so that relationships may grow. Our D-groups are lead by adults that have a passion for our students to know Jesus.

Youth Special Events

Throughout the year, student ministries provides a variety of events for students in 7th-12th grade. These events include mission trips, service projects, weekend retreats, downhill ski trips, ice skating, etc. Friends are invited to attend all of the Village events.
