2024 Night of Giving

On November 22, 2023, Village Youth had the opportunity to go out into the surrounding communities’ grocery stores and prayerfully consider who God may want us to bless. The gift was simple, just a gift card to whatever store we were at, with the hope to bless and offer prayer there on the spot. Many students were nervous, but it was amazing to see what God did through our simple and little act of obedience. That was our first Night of Giving, and the youth ministry is looking to do it again!

On November 27, 2024, the students of Village will be gathering together to give out gift cards to a few families the day before Thanksgiving. The process is done with prayer every step along the way. When we gather at the church = Pray. While we drive to the stores = Pray. Before we get out of the car = Pray. Before we talk to any people = Pray. And we do this knowing that God will lead us to who He would like us to bless. And while the monetary blessing can be significant depending on the circumstances, the true blessing is being able to pray with people.

The students have been taking an offering since the middle of September in order to raise funds for Night of Giving. The reality of this event is simple: the more money we raise, the more families we can bless. And we want to invite you to join us in the raising of these funds!
