Christmas Offering for our Friends in Mexico

This past fall Marcos Schultz, one of our World Discipleship Partners, has had the privilege of being a part of a new church plant in Mexico called Alas. It is a church for people with special needs. Marcos described the first service which took place this past fall: “There was a myriad hodgepodge of people present, some who are blind, others who are deaf, some in wheelchairs, others living with mental illnesses. And they were not there to warm a pew, they sang, they spoke, they danced. It was a celebration not to be soon forgotten.” Over the last few months this church has faced many challenges but continues to persevere in the hope and strength of Christ.
This month, we are going to provide the Village Church family an opportunity to financially give to this church through a special Christmas offering. You can place your offering in the special envelopes labeled Mexico Christmas Offering. Checks can be made out to Village Church marking “Christmas Offering” in the memo. May we be an encouragement to this new church this Christmas season as they seek to present the love of Christ with those with special needs and their families.
