New Logo, Same Mission

At our business meeting on June 2, we introduced our new Village Church logo. The logo was redesigned to reflect our mission as a church which is to Glorify God, Love People and Make Disciple-Makers. The three shapes that form the cross represent the three parts to our mission. The yellow shape at the top represents our call as Christians to give God glory in all that we do. And out of that act of glorifying God, we are to reflect the heart of the father by loving people and making-disciple-makers. The red shape represents the command to love one another, and the green shape represents our mission to go and make disciples.
The brush stroke effect of the cross represents both God’s on-going work in our lives as we live out the Gospel and, also, the sometimes messiness of the work of the Gospel as we proclaim Christ in a fallen world. We hope the new logo will be a reminder to us of our mission as a church as well as a visible representation to the community that our hope is centered around the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
