VBS Is June 12-15

Mark your calendars: This summer’s Vacation Bible School will be June 12-15. Our theme will be Babylon: Daniel’s Courage in Captivity.

We have probably all heard the story of Daniel in the lions’ den. But did you know that Daniel’s life was more than just a guy who survived a night with a pack of hungry lions? Daniel was a young man torn from his home and forced into the king’s service in Babylon. He found himself in a strange new land where people worshipped false gods. And yet he remained faithful to the one true God.

At this year’s VBS, kids will learn that they’re not much different from Daniel and his friends, who kept their faith in a faithless culture. Our kids will learn the comforting truth that no matter what changes in our life, God is with us and he gives us courage and strength to be faithful to him.
